Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.32 g, 6 h), Rome, 128-circa 129. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. COS III Roma seated left on cuirass, placing her right foot on helmet set on the ground, holding parazonium in her right hand and inverted spear in her left. BMC -. Cohen -. RIC 922. Rare. Beautifully toned. Struck from a somewhat worn reverse die, otherwise, very fine.
